1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Hovra AI ("the Service") at hovra.co, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Hovra AI is

Hovra AI provides AI-generated tools and information to help homeowners plan and manage renovation and construction projects. This includes budget analysis, materials guidance, contractor interview questions, project briefs, checklists, and related content.

3. AI-generated content disclaimer

All content generated by Hovra AI is produced by an artificial intelligence system and is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind — including but not limited to legal, financial, engineering, architectural, or construction advice.

AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Hovra AI does not guarantee that any generated content is complete, correct, up to date, or suitable for your specific situation.

Always consult a licensed professional — such as a contractor, architect, engineer, or attorney — before making decisions about your renovation or construction project. Do not rely solely on AI-generated content for any decision that affects your health, safety, finances, or property.

4. Payments

Some features of the Service require a one-time payment per project. We may change prices at any time. Price changes apply only to new purchases made after the change takes effect — projects you have already paid for are not affected. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

No subscription: Unless otherwise stated, Hovra AI charges a one-time fee per project — not a recurring subscription.

Refunds: Due to the nature of AI-generated content being delivered immediately upon generation, we do not offer refunds once a tool has been generated. If you experience a technical issue that prevented content from being generated, contact us and we will review your case.

5. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our system prompts or underlying AI logic
• Resell or redistribute AI-generated content as a standalone product without permission
• Submit false, misleading, or malicious input to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service beyond what is strictly necessary for normal use

We use automated systems to detect and prevent abuse. This includes generous rate limits on tool generation and Q&A interactions to ensure fair access for all users. These limits will not affect normal use.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive or fraudulent activity, or otherwise misused the Service.

If we terminate your account for a violation of these Terms, we are not obligated to refund any payments made.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and associated data, contact us via the contact form.

8. Intellectual property

The Hovra AI platform, brand, system prompts, and underlying logic are our intellectual property. You may not copy or replicate them.

AI-generated content produced for your specific project is yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with your own renovation or construction project. You may not resell, redistribute, or use this content to develop competing products or services. You retain ownership of the project information you input.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hovra AI and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any AI-generated content.

This includes, without limitation, any errors in cost estimates, contractor recommendations, materials guidance, or checklist items that result in financial loss, property damage, or any other harm.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hovra AI and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any interruption or discontinuation of the Service.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Nassau County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Entire agreement and severability

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Hovra AI regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
